Discussions on the Red Hat Customer Portal allows you to connect with peers, partners, and Red Hat associates to discuss product-related topics and collaborate on new initiatives. We want to help create a useful and informative environment that will add value to your Red Hat experience.

To access discussions from the Customer Portal homepage:

  1. Select Support from the main navigation.
  2. Select Red Hat Community Support or Community Discussions

Red Hat Community Support will take you to the Community landing page where you can find trending topics and the latest discussions. You can also see a list of helpful and active contributors.


Discussion guidelines

In order to maintain a collaborative and useful discussions environment, we ask that you familiarize yourself with our Community guidelines.

Highlights of those guidelines include:

  • Search for the answer before you start a new discussion
  • Tag your content
  • Be respectful of your peers and moderators
  • Do not advertise

Points and recognition 

You can earn reputation points by participating in various Community activities. As you accumulate more points, you advance through the member ranks to show that you're an active and helpful contributor. Points values are listed in our Community guidelines.
