How to determine and which release is used

Hello,

I'm new to rhscl. So please bear with me if I ask some very beginners questions.

In Red Hat Software Collections Product Life Cycle I read that there are different releases of rhscl. But how could I choose which release (1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and so on) should be used? As I know there is only one repo called rhel-7-rhscl-rpms available in subscription-manager.

And how could I check which rhscl release ist used on my system?
