An update for convert2rhel is now available for supported conversions of CentOS Linux and Oracle Linux 7 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
The convert2rhel package provides the Convert2RHEL utility, which performs operating system conversion. During the conversion process, Convert2RHEL replaces all RPM packages from the original Linux distribution with their RHEL version.
Enhancement(s):
- Port environment variables to a config file (JIRA:RHELC-1507)
- Add a pre-conversion check for an invalid grub file (JIRA:RHELC-1601)
- Add a deprecation notice about environment variables (JIRA:RHELC-1508)
- Advise users to back up their system (JIRA:RHELC-1169)
- Change out-of-date packages overridable inhibitor to a warning (JIRA:RHELC-1578)

- Always check accessibility of --enablerepo repositories (JIRA:RHELC-1747)
- Make the initramfs validity check more robust (JIRA:RHELC-1711)
- Make exit codes consistent when inhibitors found (JIRA:RHELC-1736)
