Upgrading from any asynchronous version release of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform version 4.6 to versions between 4.7.0 and 4.7.9 is not currently available.

Red Hat has discovered an issue in OpenShift Container Platform that provides sufficient cause for Red Hat to not support upgrades from any asynchronous version release of 4.6 to versions between 4.7.0 and 4.7.9:

Solution
General Guidance:
All OpenShift Container Platform 4.6 users are advised to upgrade to the next version when it is available in the appropriate release channel. To check for currently recommended updates, use the OpenShift Console or the CLI oc command.
