Issue

  • /var/log/messages file contains one or more examples of;

    kernel: sd X:X:X:X: SCSI error: return code = 0xYYYYYYYY

    Or

    sd X:X:X:X: [sdZ] Result: hostbyte=DID_OK driverbyte=DRIVER_SENSE

    Where:

    • X:X:X:X: is a device address
    • 0xYYYYYYYY is a hexadecimal error code
    • Z is a device identifier
