yum is failing with "Error communicating with server. The message was: Proxy Authentication Required" when accessing RHN via a HTTP proxy
Issue
- While updating the system using yum command, it leads to following error:
[root@rhn-client ~]# yum update list
Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
There was an error communicating with RHN.
RHN Satellite or RHN Classic support will be disabled.
Error communicating with server. The message was:
Proxy Authentication Required
