KDC Proxy functionality on IPA/IdM Servers is not working post upgrade leading to issue with AD authentication on IPA clients.

Issue

  • KDC Proxy procedure covered in KKDCP server II is no longer working in latest version of IPA/IdM servers leading to following error on IPA client:
Cannot contact any KDC for realm 'AD.EXAMPLE.COM' while getting initial credentials
