RHEL 10 installation fails due to RPM signature verification failure

Issue

  • During the installation of RHEL 10, the GUI popped up the following error message, causing the installer to exit and the system not to be installed successfully:
The following error occurred while installing the payload. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted.

An error occurred during the transaction: The transaction process has ended abruptly: Transaction test error:
   package libgcc-14.2.1-7.el10.x86_64 does not verify: Header V4 RSA/ SHA256 Signature, key ID fd431d51: BAD
   package fonts-filesystem-1:2.0.5-18.el10.noarch does not verify: Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID fd431d51: BAD
   package google-noto-fonts-common-20240401-5.el10.noarch does not verify: Header V4 RSA/SHA256 Signature, key ID fd431d51: BAD
  ....
  • Using the same installation media, can successfully install it on other servers.
