Does RHEL glibc support the "glibc.malloc.hugetlb" tunable?
Issue
- Does RHEL glibc support the
glibc.malloc.hugetlbtunable? - We would like to use the GNU C library memory allocation to use hugepages for increase application performance
- Can glibc's memory allocator use Transparent HugePages or HugeTLB static huge pages?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
- glibc (GNU C library)
- Huge memory pages - 2 MiB or 1 GiB on x86_64
