Openshift 4 Issue scaling up the machineset on-prem-resolv-prepender.service fails

Issue

  • The newly created machine is not getting the DNS configuration.
  • /etc/resolv.conf is not created

  • on-prem-resolv-prepender.service shows similar errors:

    Sep 24 09:00:01 test-node systemd[1]: on-prem-resolv-prepender.service: Service has Restart= setting other than no, which isn't allowed for Type=oneshot services. Refusing.
