The scp command in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 produces empty files when the same file is overwritten
Issue
- In RHEL8 we were sometimes overriding the same file using
scp $LOCAL_PATH $HOSTNAME:$LOCAL_PATHand it simply preserved the file. This behaviour changed in RHEL9 and now the files are being emptied.
