nscd segfaults when a netgroup lookup is performed.
Issue
- The following commands outputs:
[root@xxx dir1]# getent netgroup mygroup
mygroup (test.mydomain.com,,) (test2.mydomain.com,,) .<Other hosts.......>
[root@xxx dir1]# service nscd status
nscd dead but subsys locked
- A line similar to the following may appear in /var/log/messages
Dec 10 16:19:23 xxx kernel: nscd[2096]: segfault at 7f43740e5000 ip 00007f4385628aab sp 00007f43740e1828 error 6 in libc-2.12.so[7f438559f000+18b000]
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5
- nscd-2.12-1.132.el6.x86_64
