Backup and Restore in IdM/IPA

Issue

Identity Management solution is usually one of the crucial parts of a corporate infrastructure. As such, it needs to have a backup and restore mechanisms in place to provide high availability. This article lists different Backup and Restore scenarios for Identity Management Server and offers different ways to address them with current IdM capabilities. It also discusses potential improvements in these areas for future IdM releases.
