RHDG server fail to start after patch 7.3.8 is applied

Solution Verified - Updated -

  • After update the server instance to 7.3.8 the server failed to start with the following error
ERROR [org.jboss.as.controller.management-operation] (Controller Boot Thread) WFLYCTL0013: Operation ("add") failed - address: ([
    ("subsystem" => "remoting"),
    ("http-connector" => "http-remoting-connector")
]) - failure description: {
    "WFLYCTL0412: Required services that are not installed:" => ["jboss.http-upgrade-registry.default"],
    "WFLYCTL0180: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies" => ["jboss.remoting.remoting-http-upgrade-service.http-remoting-connector is missing [jboss.http-upgrade-registry.default]"]
  • A OpenShift image with RHDG 7.3.8 will start successfully, but if the configration is changed by using CONFIG_MAP it fail with the error message above, what is the problem?
