Issue

  • A gfs2 filesystem fails to mount because of Transport endpoint is not connected
# mount -t gfs2 /dev/mapper/vgdata-lvdata /data
mount: mount  /dev/mapper/vgdata-lvdata  on /data failed: Transport endpoint is not connected

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7, 8 (with the High Availability Add On and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • A Global Filesystem 2(gfs2)
