Mouse pointer out of sync on RHEL-5 guest system installed on Microsoft Hyper-V server.

Issue

  • When users login into the RHEL5 guest VM running on Hyper-V. There are two mouse icons on the guest screen. One is a dot, and the other is a arrow. When moving the mouse, both of them will move. Only the mouse with arrow is valid for using.
  • Two mouse icons show up on the guest installed on Microsoft Hyper-V. This is causing issue to use the system.
    • Problem with Gnome desktop on RHEL5, mouse pointer seems to be separated.
