    BUG: soft lockup - CPU#N stuck for 67s! [<process>:NNNN]
    • Where <process> is typically auditd or killall5.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, several minor releases before RHEL6.5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4 since kernel Version 2.6.32-358.18.1.el6
