RHEL8: FS-Cache Duplicate cookie detected in system logs

Environment

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (NFS client)

  • mounting multiple exports from the same server that has higher versions of NFSv4 disabled
    OR
  • mounting multiple exports from same server but using explicitly different NFS4 versions (i.e. -o vers=4.1, and vers=4.0)

• Any NFS server with multiple exports with higher versions of NFS4 disabled

  • Example (Red Hat NFS server)

    # grep vers4 /etc/nfs.conf
    # vers4=y
    vers4.0=y
    vers4.1=n
    vers4.2=n
    
    # cat /proc/fs/nfsd/versions 
    -2 +3 +4 -4.1 -4.2
