Is this a potential selinux-policy bug when using ssh-copy-id?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • I just installed a new RHEL 6.3 system and used ssh-copy-id to get access via SSH keys. I couldn't get it working until I ran restorecon on "authorized_keys":
[root@hit-ipa01 .ssh]# ls -laZ authorized_keys
-rw-------. root root unconfined_u:object_r:admin_home_t:s0 authorized_keys

[root@hit-ipa01 .ssh]# restorecon authorized_keys

[root@hit-ipa01 .ssh]# ls -laZ authorized_keys
-rw-------. root root unconfined_u:object_r:ssh_home_t:s0 authorized_keys
