OpenShift Router haproxy process generates core dumps starting in v3.9.71-4
Issue
- The OpenShift Router is crashing repeatedly which generates core dumps and fills up filesystem.
- After upgrading one of our OCP installations from 3.7 to 3.9 the updated router pods are generating multiple core dumps files (core.XXXX) at a high frequency and rapidly eating pod disk space, causing the subsequent router reloads to fail.
Environment
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
- 3.9.71
