[SSSD] Can automount maps retrieved from LDAP be sorted before serving out to autofs?

Issue

  • Got an issue with RHEL7 where autofs seems to ignore nested automount maps.
  • The maps have an overlapping base mount point but map1 (i.e. /nfs/project) makes map2 (i.e. /nfs/project/location) inaccessible

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.4
  • System Security Services Daemon (SSSD)
  • sssd-1.16.0-19.el7_5.5.x86_64
  • AutoFS automount maps storred in LDAP
