Why does system-config-kdump on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 not offer ext4 as dump location?
I want to dump a vmcore to an ext4 filesystem, but there is no option for ext4 within the system-config-kdump application.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
ext4 as dump destination
system-config-kdump-0:1.0.14-1.el5.noarch or earlier
