- The system is experiencing multiple soft lockups or crash at kmem_cache_alloc() in the
fsnotify()function after updating to RHEL 7.5.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5
- kernels between kernel-3.10.0-862.el7 and earlier than kernel-3.10.0-862.9.1.el7
