Why multipath is reporting "tur checker reports path is down" in RHEL?

Issue

  • multipath -v2 is reporting the following message

    sdb: checker msg is "tur checker reports path is down" 
sdk: checker msg is "tur checker reports path is down" 
sdc: checker msg is "tur checker reports path is down"

  • How can I determine why my paths are marked as faulty the path checker reports the path is down?

  • Getting errors from multipath when trying to allocate storage
