Problem routing websocket traffic with F5 LoadBalancer
Issue
The HTTP content is properly routed to the application but the WebSocket connection is failing to do the handshake. The browser console shows the following error:
WebSocket connection to 'wss://server.example.com/myapp/socket' failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 301
Environment
- OpenshiftContainerPlatform 3.x
- F5 BIG-IP Load balancer version 11.4.0 or later
