'multipath -r' gives "alua not supported" message with 3PARdata storage.
Issue

multipath -r
command gives below error message for all the newly assigned LUNs. - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

- Storage "3PARdata" with default ALUA mode present within multipath:
