Issue

possible kernel error for LSI SAS based MegaRAID driver

RHEV is installed in  a Dell 1950 server as the Linux portion of it. After a lot of disk I/O (trying to create a template from a VM) the following error appears in the /var/log/messages:

Feb 22 10:47:18 node1 kernel: scsi: host 1 channel 0 id 0 lun 0x0000000000000001 has a LUN larger than currently supported

When this happens the RHEV system considers itself to be out of contact with the host and storage. It comes back after a couple minutes, but the operation (creating the template) is abandoned.
