Does Ceph as a backend for OpenStack support qcow2, vmdk or any other image format other than raw?
Issue
- Sometimes the raw image is much larger than qcow2 or another image format , so It will consume more space on the Ceph cluster or take more time for booting from the image. Does Ceph support qcow2 images, or another image type than raw, such as VMDK?
- Does Ceph support the qcow2 image format?
- Does Ceph support the VMDK image format?
