Why does the appliance with the VMDB have so many long running ‘IDLE’ sessions and how do I remove them?
Issue
-Huge number of idle postgres process on DB servers after lastest patch
- postgresql concurrent session limit exceeded
- high number of processes on database owning appliance
- high number of sessions in postgresql
