Unable to look up java:module/ JNDI entries from new thread in JBoss EAp 6

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The lookup for "java:module/ModuleName" gives ejb jar name (module name).
  • It gives the correct name while doing lookup from main thread but results in a NameNotFoundException when looked up from another thread.
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: java:module/ModuleName
