What does "kernel: Simple Boot Flag at 0x36 set to 0x80" mean?
Issue
- After changing HDD to CD for Boot ordering on the server BIOS setting, the ending of a message output at reboot is changed. Why does it happen?
Before:
kernel: Simple Boot Flag at 0x36 set to 0x80
After:
kernel: Simple Boot Flag at 0x36 set to 0x1
