What patching / upgrade options are available for EAP 6 ?
Issue
- We would like to be able to upgarde JBoss from version N to N+1 without impacting the customized configuration files.
- We want to write our own mechanism for patching. We want to automate a process if it is possible.
- Will the new patch/upgrade process be accessible with EAP 6 or it will be a part of JON ? Will it be automatically mechanism? Where can I find the details about it ?
- Do you have documentation/procedures around upgrading minor version of EAP6?
- How does one upgrade from EAP 6.x to 6.x?
