CVE-2026-64164
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's btrfs filesystem tracepoints. The btrfs_sync_file() trace event, when called in an atomic context, attempts to perform an operation that can cause the system to sleep. This can lead to a kernel crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected system. A local attacker could potentially trigger this vulnerability by enabling the trace event and executing specific filesystem operations.
