Description
A flaw was found in Apache ActiveMQ Artemis (STOMP). An authenticated user with send or consume permission on an address can change that address's routing-type even without createAddress. As a result, send or consume operations that should be rejected for an unsupported routing-type may succeed, undermining address configuration integrity.
Statement
Apache ActiveMQ Artemis is vulnerable to an authorization bypass over STOMP. A network-authenticated attacker with only send or consume rights on an address can augment the address routing-type without createAddress, allowing message send or consume against a routing-type the address should not accept. Fixed in Apache Artemis 2.54.0.
