CVE-2026-3906

Description

A flaw was found in WordPress. Authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access can exploit this flaw by creating notes on any post, including those authored by other users or private posts. This is due to an improper permission check in the REST API create_item_permissions_check() method. This leads to unauthorized information disclosure and potential integrity issues within the platform.
