Description

When fetchmail receives a 334 reply from the SMTP server that does not contain the mandated blank after that response code, it will attempt reading from memory location 1, which will usually lead to a crash.

Mitigation

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
