Mitigation
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s i40e network driver (function i40e_vsi_request_irq_msix()). If request_irq() fails on a later iteration than the first, the error-path tries to call free_irq() for previously requested IRQs but passes an incorrect dev_id. As a result, some IRQs are not properly freed and the driver may trigger kernel warnings or resource cleanup inconsistencies.
