CVE-2022-48848
Description
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel in the trace_osnoise function in kernel/trace/trace_osnoise.c where an issue occurs when events are unregistered twice, triggered by certain commands that switch trace modes, leading to kernel warnings and potential instability. The improper handling of tracepoint unregistration can disrupt the tracing process in kernel operations.
Mitigation
Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
