The ldns-keygen tool in ldns 1.6.x uses the current umask to set the privileges of the private key, which might allow local users to obtain the private key by reading the file.

Statement

This issue affects the versions of ldns as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. Red Hat Product Security has rated this issue as having Low security impact. This issue is not currently planned to be addressed in future updates.
