Buffer overflow in the skip-scan optimization in SQLite 3.8.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via crafted SQL statements.
Statement
This issue did not affect versions of sqlite as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6 and 7, since they did not include the commit that introduced this flaw.
