CVE-2026-87442
Description
A flaw was found in Prerender in Google Chrome. A remote attacker who has compromised the renderer process could exploit a confused deputy vulnerability by crafting a malicious HTML page. This could potentially allow them to bypass the web origin policy, which is a fundamental security mechanism that restricts how a document or script loaded from one origin can interact with a resource from another origin. The primary consequence is unauthorized access to data or actions across different web origins.
