CVE-2026-85077
Description
A flaw was found in Sanic. The HTTP/1.1 response pipeline does not properly validate carriage-return or line-feed characters in response header names and values. This allows applications that place attacker-controlled data in response headers, filenames, or cookie attributes to inject additional headers or split responses. Depending on the application and proxy configuration, this can lead to session fixation through injected cookies, cache poisoning, or corruption of security headers.
Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details
Info alert:Important note
CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).
The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
