CVE-2026-84444
Description
A flaw was found in libheif, a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. When processing uncompressed tiled images with the WITH_UNCOMPRESSED_CODEC enabled, the heif_context_add_image_tile() function can accept a specially crafted image tile with mismatched dimensions. This can lead to an out-of-bounds write, allowing an attacker to copy controlled data beyond the heap output buffer, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution.

Mitigation
