CVE-2026-82983
Description
A flaw was found in Nextcloud Tables. The application fails to properly verify that a requesting user has management permissions before returning table share details. An authenticated user with read-only access can exploit this flaw by directly querying the share-listing endpoint, leading to unauthorized information disclosure of all share recipients and their assigned permission levels.
Statement
This flaw is assessed as a Moderate severity issue because exploitation is constrained to metadata enumeration and requires the attacker to already possess authenticated read privileges on the affected table. The vulnerability does not allow unauthorized access to the underlying table records or enable any modification of data or privileges. Furthermore, Nextcloud Tables is an application for Nextcloud and is not included or supported within Red Hat enterprise software offerings.
Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details
Info alert:Important note
CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).
The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
