CVE-2026-77411

Description

RabbitMQ amqp091-go versions before 1.13.0 mishandle an oversized AMQP longstr field. A malicious or compromised broker can desynchronize message parsing, causing subsequent bytes to be interpreted as AMQP data and disrupting connection integrity or availability. Fixed in version 1.13.0.

Statement

This flaw affects Red Hat products using the vulnerable RabbitMQ amqp091-go client. Exploitation requires a malicious or compromised AMQP broker and may disrupt client connections or cause unintended protocol processing. Red Hat rates this issue Important.

Mitigation

Connect applications only to trusted AMQP brokers, restrict network access to approved broker endpoints, use transport security and protected credentials, and update to a Red Hat product version containing the fix for amqp091-go 1.13.0 or later.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).
