CVE-2026-63827

Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's AppArmor security module. A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the aa_replace_profiles() function due to an issue with reference counting during policy data deduplication. This flaw occurs when the system attempts to access memory that has already been freed, which can lead to system instability and denial of service. While the immediate impact observed is system warnings, such vulnerabilities can potentially be exploited by a local attacker to escalate privileges or disclose sensitive information.
