CVE-2026-63420
Description
A flaw was found in OpenImageIO. When processing an indexed Photoshop Document (PSD) image containing transparency metadata with oiio:rawcolor or psd:rawdata enabled, the interleave_row function attempts to read data beyond the bounds of allocated memory. This heap out-of-bounds read can lead to a process crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).

Mitigation
Avoid processing untrusted or specially crafted PSD image files with applications that use OpenImageIO, especially when `oiio:rawcolor` or `psd:rawdata` features are enabled. This can prevent the application from crashing due to the out-of-bounds read vulnerability.
