CVE-2026-62289
Description
A flaw was found in libheif, a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted HEIF or AVIF file containing a clean aperture box. This can lead to an integer underflow when processing image transformations, causing the application to crash or corrupt image tiling results. This issue primarily results in a Denial of Service (DoS) or potential data integrity issues.

Mitigation
