CVE-2026-50184

Description

A flaw was found in the @angular/service-worker component. When the Angular Service Worker reconstructs network requests, it inadvertently removes client-defined security settings for credentials and HTTP caching. This can cause the browser to send sensitive credentials, such as cookies or authorization headers, on requests where they were explicitly meant to be omitted, potentially leading to session leaks. Additionally, private data that should not be cached may be stored locally, making it accessible even after a user logs out.

Statement

This Moderate impact flaw in the @angular/service-worker component, which could lead to session leaks and cached private data due to improper handling of client-defined security settings during network request reconstruction, does not affect Red Hat products. The vulnerable code is not present in Red Hat JBoss Fuse.

Mitigation

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base, or stability.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).

The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
