CVE-2026-45702

Description

A flaw was found in OP-TEE OS, a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) for Arm Cortex-A cores. A type confusion vulnerability exists when OP-TEE OS processes an FFA_MEM_SHARE request from the normal world. This flaw can be exploited by a local attacker with high privileges when OP-TEE is configured as a Secure Partition Manager Core (SPMC) for Secure EL0 Secure Partitions (S-EL0 SPs). Successful exploitation could lead to a denial of service.

When a memory buffer is accessed using the wrong type, it could read or write memory out of the bounds of the buffer, if the allocated buffer is smaller than the type that the code is attempting to access, leading to a crash and possibly code execution.
